A few thoughts.. first if your getting signs of choice after 11 firings let alone 6 your bumping the shoulder too much..
Next the bolt drop method just doesn't work in a savage.. it just doesn't..
If your starting with your new lapua brass I would measure a one time fired case.. deprime it first.. then chamber it.. if it chambers fine size it and leave the shoulder where it is. Load it and fire it again.. then measure it.. then bump it your .002.. let your case tell you what your headspace is..
