H4350 - 140gr Berger Hybrid Target loads

Like to tap in to the knowledge base again and work up an safe load with the following parameters.

Cartridge: 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady
Bullet: 140gr Berger Hybrid Target loads
Primer: Federal 210M
Brass: Hornady Once Fired
Powder: H4350

I will be shooting this load out of my Kelby bolt action - 26" Bartlein barrel.

Anyone with (or even without) this approximate set up recommend a safe starting point for this load?   Once Again, TIA!    8)

I've never shot any of the 4350's in my 6five.
I believe a lot of guys do run in the 41.1gr-41.5gr area.
Personally I run H4831SC with great accuracy and consistency.

I shoot alot of the 140 grain berger hybrids in a 26 inch criterion barrel.. theirs a node in the 2730 fps area and the one i run in is a node in the low 2800 area.. 2815 for me.. thats with hornady brass.. i would start at 41 gr. And work up..

You may end up around 41 for your load but I wouldn't start my load development there. My experience with a 25" Krieger 4-groove barrel is that 40.5 H4350 yields a little over 2800, which is near max pressure. A second lot of the same powder at that charge gives 2740. So variation in powder and chambers can give considerably different results and pressures. Always safest to load a couple test charges at 0.5gr intervals starting a couple grains below where you expect your desired node to be.

you may be correct david... was you using hornady brass ? quiet a few of the others has less case capacity than hornady and doesnt take as much powder...   to the op... to be safe load one at 40 and one at 40.5...just to be sure...

I have had good luck with:
Lapua Brass
H4350  41.5 grs.
CCI  BR2 Primer
Berger 140 gr Hybrid
31" Brux Barrel
Jump of 0.015"MV=2835fps  SD=8fps

Am using identical set up- HOWA 1500. But get great results with 39.5 - 40.0gr. with a COAL of  2.795 - 2.80" Personally not sure I want to exceed 40 .0 gr myself.
