Gives me a headache and a bad attitude 😂

Well shortly after we crossed the border, we got into the smoke. It was so bad last night it completely blocked the sunset. Could hardly see it at all. Today is slightly better.

A couple pics from two lakes we were at for my oldest sons dry land cross country ski camp.

Send that moose my way!! Season opens in a few weeks...

Didn't get one in archery.

Denver Steve

Literally 233 miles straight north send it. No left or right deviation. That will be right where I am hutning.

I *99'ed my Legacy moose tag this year. Not ready to go out yet. Hope you get one.

Just regular open season. Not for the draw season. I haven't ever been drawn for moose...but up by my parents farm, in the forest, it's open season. Just not easily accessible.

We were heading east on WA SR-14 earlier today, about 5 miles out of Vancouver WA, 5 miles west of our destination, Camas WA. Since I was driving I barked at the boss asking for a picture of Mt. Hood, she got it! We don't see too many clear-ish days this time of year, this was one of them-ish  :D.

Today, for us, was nature's way of saying "Welcome to Spring!". Bluebird sky, 70° or so ambient, a welcome change from constant rain, wind and cold. You know its been raining a lot when you avoid stepping on earthworms who've also had it with excess moisture for too long. They do their thing above ground, which doesn't end well for them, just ask the Red Robins.

Anyway, here's Mt Hood Oregon as seen from the start of the northbound Interstate-5 bridge deck on the Oregon side. Everything on the left is in WA, on the right is OR. The mighty Columbia River separates the two states and is the reason for the bridge  ::).

It's amazing to me how far smartphone cameras have come, especially considering since this was taken at 50 mph!

Pretty pic Chris. Definitely agree with you regarding the cameras. The newer 3 lens iPhone can do some amazing things with the image processing.

Our Dogwood is looking special this spring  :)

Big fan of Dogwoods.  Ours is blooming nicely this year.

If everything seems under control......you're just not going fast enough

We have two Rhododendrons in the yard that compete for nature's beauty award each year, the south-facing one won the gold, er, the lavender award this year.
