Gentlemen,
Go under the knife in Shreveport 14 July. Had big plans to get it done by mid June.  Have done all the prep and all systems are go. Will do a 360 fusion of S-1, L-1 through L-5.  Even though there is risk involved, I am looking forward to it.  I need some relief.  Refuse pain killers to get me by.  Scared of them.  2023-2024 deer chasing will be a little limited.  By then, can sit a blind and pull the trigger, but carcass recovery is the issue.  Not a problem if I am in LA.  Boudreau's will come flying on the promise of half a backstrap. :)) TN is another story. Wife and step-daughter might get a chance for some dirty, physical work if I drop the hammer.

BTW, laid hands on my Alamo Precision 7PRC Altitude a couple of weeks ago.  Waited 10 months.  Proof Sendero was the hold up.  Will start to play with it when I am ambulatory.  Have everything I need to reload but cases.  Enough Hornady factory to break in.  Seed corn.  Focus will be Berger 180 Hybrids loafing at 2850-2900.
Will check in when a week or two after the surgery.

If you have the shot, take it.

Wishing you the best of luck with your procedure!!! Hopefully all goes perfectly and recovery goes just as well.

I know you have been looking forward to that rifle showing up for quite awhile as well.

Wayne, we'll be thinking about you.  Hope all goes well.  A good buddy went thru something very similar and he is doing great.  For an old guy, he still is pretty quick driving his Corvette on the track....didn't slow him down at all.  Getting relief from the pain is what drove him to finally getting it done.

If everything seems under control......you're just not going fast enough

Grant,
Will follow instructions to a tee. Two great docs did their magic. The rest is on me.
