  swampthang......Last time I was in the Highland Texas area I witnessed GGN consistently shooting at and hitting "Golf Balls" that were suspended from strings at 600 yards.   He is that GOOOOD of a shot.   (Giterdone....NRA "Master Class" long Range Certified.)

Thought I would share since I have never posted any pics of my rig.

6.5 on a Stiller action, with AW cut, AW mags, 28" Krieger barrel, Manners t 5a stock, Built by Shark precision and running Shark can with SS 5x 20 scope.

1.25 " group shot at 800 yards on 6" plate, 25 MPH wind, under 30 ec for all 3 shots.

DPMS LR 6.5 Creed

Surprised you are getting that velocity out of a 20" barrel.  My other Creedmoor is a DPMS LR 6.5 Creedmoor 24" bbl. 8.5" twist and it shoots as good as my bolt gun at 600 yards.  I have formed about 50 brass cases from .243 brass but neck turning (inside reaming after initial firing and "before" resizing) are necessary if you dont want a donut inside.  Welcome to the forum.

Trent....I suggest you try a "New" box (plastic) of Lapua Scenar 139 grain bullets as they may have "improved" them from your earlier lot # of bullets.  I dont see anyone else having problems with them, myself included.

After cleaning my barrels I apply "colloidal graphite" inside the bore (via patching); or on a new barrel I will use Hollands "witches brew" lastly before putting the rifle away in the gun safe.  Before shooting I will push a loose patch thru the bore to remove any excess graphite/bore lube.  I find this procedure greatly reduces copper fouling. I personally would not use a bore snake for general cleaning, but only to remove undesirable objects from a bore should the need arise while on a hunt.

Like Vegas 50.... I am currently using 41.6 grs H4350 and 139 gr. Lapua Scenar for my 600 yard load.  I have tried 41.9 grs in my LRP... but groups start to open very slightly.   Using Fed GM210M primers to light the fire.   YMMV

Regarding those .300WSM cases that have been shot 6-7 times resized and would not re-chamber.  Time to anneal those cases.  A body die will resize the case without touching the neck dimensions.  It can/will set the shoulder back if adjusted to do so.  Resizing loaded rounds in a body die is not recommended by the manufacturer; I have done it with some success, but I would not hover over the suspect loaded round when operating the press handle.   YMMV

swampthang.......Years ago I annealed deprimed cases by using a battery powered drill with a primer pocket uniformer in its chuck.  I used a secured propane torch and would slip a case over the  uniformer and would spin the case holding the neck/shoulder area in the flame for around six seconds; and then would tip the case so it would fall off the primer pocket uniformer into a pail of water.  After some practice using junk cases, a person can get satisfactoruy results, but it isnt as fast as a "Bench Source" machine for volume annealing. YMMV

Regarding over heating.....an annealing machine like the "Bench Source" has a timer that you can adjust (in seconds) so that the cases are all exposed for the same length of time.  Yes.... they (Bench Source) are not cheap but if you want to have cases that are uniformly annealed IMHO its the way to go.  YMMV
