Going to detail  my build and load development for the new build.

Picked up the chassis yesterday. Got the internal weight kit and 1 set of external weight kit and  the but stick weight.  The verticle grip and bag rider will be her wed.  My target weight is 25-26 pounds.

Got done eith work early and figured I would go shoot the new chassis.   Swaped the 6 5x47 barreld action out of the manners.  Fit like a charm.  Took it to the range.  Poi was about 1 inch high.  Shot 10 rounds or so and had a trigger failure (jewell).  Woukd not fire.  Fekt kike itveas not resetting.  Brought it homecand hit it with break clean and some air and it works.  I checked it before removed from the chasis and after and it did not work. So Im guessing it had something in it.  First time i have eever cleaned the trigger.

First impressions.  I love the chassis.  As much as I like the t4a this one seems just fit me better.  After adjusting i would say perfect.  Its very easy to get directy behind the rifle in have perfect alignment and sight picture.

I will be putting a curtis axiom in it with a bartlein 7.5 left hand gain twist barrel.  Both are at the smith now.

Very nice, what discipline of competition are you shooting at that target weight?

I'm thinking PRS?
but the two black dots on barrel give me pause. Do tell.

Velcro tabs to hold on a barrel mirage shield.

I like the looong fore end on that stock; it should help 'dampen' any movements at the rear bag.  My Kestros ZR has a long wheel base like that and I am beginning to appreciate it.  Nice rig.

Yes, prs.

I shoot f class with the rifle as well so hence the velcro tabs for the mirage shield.

Got that Robin, just didn't comprehend them on a PRS rig.

Gotcha Dan.  I guess it would be more likely for a dope card on a PRS rig...or a Gatorade bottle holder. :D

You should see some of the contraptions I've been noticing on rigs as of late at matches. I've suffered a few double takes. Imagination seems to be the limit.

From the song list of "Dire Straights"....."I Love My MDT".....LOL

Good stocks. One of the reasons I went with the HS3 was the
the long front, and being able to swap out butt stocks.....Which
vertical grip are you getting ??  The MDT adjustable vertical, did
not go over well for me.  Biggest problem was, it was too fat at
the mounting point, and interfered with my finger to trigger, Had
to fill with epoxy on the inside just to have enough meat to
shave the outside down.....Other then that,  I do think my next
stock will be between yours or the MDT Oryx monolithic.

Not to offend anyone but my hunting partner calls me a gear queer!  I like trying different things.   I have zero illusions this is anything but a game and I like playing games.

@fuj yes verticle grip.  Ive shot it and it fits my hand very well.

@danbonzo, ove actually thought about making some type a small and light mirage shield for it for prs!!! Something like the hp guys use.

Machined the riders - took longer to polish them out. ????
