I have been using one of these for a little over a year now:

I am presently in the middle of an AR 10 build which I have decided will be a 6.5 Creedmoor. Barrel will be a Rainier Arms UltraMatch 22" SS with a rifle length gas port and a Syrac Gen II adj. gas block. Upper/lower will be a Mega Maten MKM with a Rainier Arms UltraMatch BCG.

My question, I will be going with a JP Enterprises AR 10 Silent Captured Spring and was wondering if I should be going just the Standard or Heavy Tungsten weight/spring set-up.

Thanks!

After having done a little more research, I believe I have found the solution I am looking for. I just finished speaking with the owner on the phone, and he said they will manufacture the muzzle brake specific to the caliber of your choice. In addition, he will taper it to fit the specific barrel profile diameter and in my case bead/sand blast it to match the finish of my barrel.

Hi, I am in the middle of a new AR10 build and have been researching muzzle brakes. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have found, after market MB's are offered strictly for the following 2 calibers - 223/556 and .308. (No surprise there as these 2 calibers comprise the vast majority of AR sales).

My question is, are their actually muzzle brakes designed and manufactured specifically for the 6.5 caliber?

TIA, Mike
