This caliber gave me an excuse to build another AR15 platform! I'm only shooting factory loads (Federal/Nosler 40gr ballistic tips. Chronographed them on my LabRadar at just under 3,700FPS. (Barrel is a White Oak Armory 26" H. Varmint barrel). This rifle is a hammer, but it is pure hell as far as copper fowling. All that said, I would not said hesitate taking pokes out to 600+ yards on a calm day with this set-up!   

Please feel free to vent, it's healthy to get things off your chest. Hell, I do it dam near daily to my best friend (quid pro quo) and fully expect it in return...

22" Criterion Bull barrel gas gun. CCI BR4 primers. 28.8grs of Power Pro Varmint pushing a 129gr Hornady Interlock. Average velocity is 2452 fps. Was able to put 3 shots into a 1/2" center to center.
