BINGO! It's a numbers game but with a little planning and patience things will prove or disprove your actions.

Everything's returning to the shelves but the prices are at least double. I was at Bass Pro today and saw 12 gauge 3 1/2 shotgun shells for $79.95 for 5 boxed shells.

I'll be the odd man out but I still clean mine in a Lyman 1200 vibratory tumbler with crushed corncob and walnut media purchased in bulk at Harbor Freight. I add a couple of tablespoons of Flitz Multi-Purpose Polish and this does a great job cleaning each case thoroughly inside and out.

From what I gather avoid this site like the plague!

Easy? This really depends if you can get a felt polishing tip in there.

I've done several using a Dremel with a felt tip and various grits of diamond compound. AR barrels are super easy to do but bolt guns can be a challenge depending on the room.

To begin loading for a new rifle, I had to take some initial chamber measurements to determine its boundaries.

MCOAL: This is the distance from the bolt face to the bullet tip with the ogive touching lands.

COAL: This is the distance from the bolt face to the bullet ogive touching lands using a precision fixture mounted to a digital caliper.

Initially, I accepted the reason (excuse) ammunition shortage was due to hoarding, Covid shutdowns, supply, etc, etc, etc. A lot of time has passed but I'm seeing stock reappearing BUT the prices are at a minimum 3X to 10X the price of only 3 years ago.

I have powder containers with price stickers $25-$29/pound. Today the same powders are $45-$55/pound.Primers used to be $19.99/1000 and now they're $129/1000.

Greed aside, the bottleneck is much higher than the local gun shops.
