In TN, was supposed to pull jury duty.  Postponed till mid March.  Omicron is raging.

Has been brutally cold.  Today was pleasant.  Filled up feeders on 27 January.  Checked trail cams today.  Crazy.  They are hitting the feeders and the clover food plots.  Have daylight pics of a new 10 point and three quality 8 points.  Keep Trophy Rock minerals out year-round. Have decided to focus all my efforts on this place. Will have some quality deer to chase.
If you have the shot, take it.

Sounds like a positive situation me mate. Still far too hot down here in Australia to hunt, in fact it's mid summer. I'll probably go and have a look around on my hunting block before things cool off. We had a big drought here, but there's been a heap of rain since then and the paddock feed is going nuts. I'm hoping for a good cold winter, and some venison in the freezer.

Well less than 1 week of archery season left here! I'm hoping to get a cracking at one with my crossbow!
They have to walk through the yard first. Crossbow is already cockedand a rage broadleaf is waiting.

Seeing bucks around here has been a challenge in itself! I leave the nubbin bucks alone looking down the road

I didn't personally shoot anything. But my ten year old grandson got his first. We got to spend a few days together at deer camp...just me and him...had a great time and consider it a success. He also got the shooting bug banging steel out to 700yrds. On the bench, off a bipod and rear bag 6.5CM.

Always enjoy seeing new recruits into the shooting world.

Sounds like an awesome time! Your grandson will remember those days with you in camp forever.
