Ive been working , but will get it out to the range . And will get pics of "my" gun up as well. It is exactly as the one in link above, in 6.5 creedmoor. Wed looks like a good day for shooting .

I got a chance to get out and shoot my  "MURIKA" HCR , shot some factory ammo that came with it. Winchester 125gr open tip range , and some Hornady 140gr bthp . Both shot just over MOA @ 100 yards. I zeroed @ 200 yards and shot the Hornady 140 bthp in one large cluster.
Cant wait to get a load worked up, should not be to difficult from the first range session ;)
Will try some Nosler 140gr rdf over imr 4451 , and see how that works. Will be mainly used for some longer range target shooting. 500-1000 yards .

Here are two pics ,

6.5 have you had a chance to shoot it any yet... curious how you liked the buttstock... I put the same one on a stealth I have but didn't care for it... made the gun feel top heavy in the rear bag.. ended up putting a xlr buttstock on it and it felt a lot better...

I like it too. If i didn't I'd buy a different chassis before I painted over the stars & stripes!

Yes, I shot  40 rounds yesterday. 20 of the 125otr and 20 140bthp .As expected factory results. But hey I looked at it as free ammo came as part of the deal . Lots of brass when I finish shooting them all as well . At 100 yards I was getting a group of 5 just over an inch, then one under an inch . Went like that with the 140 at 200 too. Some cross wind, but again factory. As for the stock , I felt very comfortable behind it.Can adjust comb and length of pull. Very nice, my first chassis rig. I`m looking forward to getting used to it, and drop the trigger down a lb or lb n 1/2 . Put together some loads and be off to the "gong show " ;) I mentioned it will be mainly a rig for the 1000yd range not to far from me,as my shooting partner has been waiting for me to step up my game. I like the Nosler RFD `s in my model 12 6.5 creedmoor. Any suggestions on bullet and powder combo for the task. H-4350 and ???bullet ? Thanks.

The great thing about the 6.5 creedmoor is you can get about any of the 140 class pills to shoot well with h4350 or re 16.. I prefer a 140 Berger hybrid sitting on top of h4350 myself .. but theirs alot of other combos that work well also..

Ditto/\/\ 130s and even 120s work well, 142 SMKs are hard to beat with h4350 if you're after "one hole" accuracy.

Thanks guys, will get to work on some load`s this weekend .

6.5 CRDMR

Cant believe its been over 2 weeks since I`ve been on here for another range report.
Well did put together some loads using 140g Nosler rdf over imr 4451 and 4350 too .41.4 and 41.5 was used. Shot ok but not MOA .Similar to the factory ammo I ran last outing.
Was scratching my head on that one. Also loaded up som Sierra 140g mk , with same two powders and charges. A little closer to MOA but not quite, yet ;)
Got the gun home and thought I would clean the barrel real good, `cause I only ran a bore-snake down it when I first got it home. MY BAD ... That thing was so filthy, I could not believe how much  carbon/powder and a bit of copper as well. Using Hoppe`s #9 along with their copper solvent last...
Went back out today and shot MOA and sub with same loads ,,,SMK 140`s over 4350 the best @ 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" at 200 yards. Very pleased. I will be making some slight tweaks with those loads and get back out as soon as I get another chance .
Question , has anyone used the foam product called wipe-out ? Thanks

That's a beauty of a Howa!  Mine is all black and I'm considering a paint job.  As of today I have 153 rounds fired mostly looking for nodes.  My best so far is...
143ELDX IMR4350 42grs 2723fps .839" 100 yards 10 shots.

143ELDX Superformance 44.4grs 2804 fps .846" 100 yards 10 shots.

I sure hope I can do better.  I like the trigger but maybe just a wee bit lighter would be nice but I'm not going there.  I really want to stay with a hunting bullet.  Maybe a 140gr SST...or some sort of Nosler.

When I tried 4451 found lots of black carbon residue also....supposed to have some "copper reducer" in it.  Once H4350 became available I have never looked back.  The IMR4451 did make good accurate loads though.
