Reloading / Re: Resizing Questions
Last post by jvw2008 -
Short answer: probably yes with acceptable headspace. Bullet jump is not going to make it unsafe as long as it’s not a major jam into the lands.

Caveat:  excessive chamber pressure is the enemy, so your charge weight needs to be considered. If you are at or above recommended max, you might want to put together a few test rounds that walk the charge weight up to what you’ve already reloaded.
Reloading / Resizing Questions

Is there any problem or danger to using ammo loaded for a Bergara B14 HMR 6,5 Creedmoor in a Savage 110 Elite Precision 6.5 Creedmoor.   Headspace checks OK with gage.  They feed and close OK. This kinda sorta a neck and full length resize question.

Started reloading rifles again maybe a year ago.  Learning as I went.  I initially started with a Bergara B14 HMR 6.5 Creedmoor.  My method was to fire form new brass or once fired factory loads.  Then neck resize.   Seated bullets for 0.030" jump.  (don't know what jump would be in Savage yet).

Intuition, research and web surfing say to my logic center, this should be OK but worst case is some accuracy issue.

The Level Right Pro kit has a built in flashlight and small grid on a tripod.  Light passes through scope and transposes the crosshairs on the grid which has it's own level.  Played with it yesterday.  Learning curve headed in the right direction.

That’s one thing I would pay for someone else to do. I sooo hate mounting scopes, but don’t know anyone that could do a good job of it lol. I have been doing the bright flashlight method as of late and it seems ok. I often bring a long level to the range  to square my target up with a black vertical line on it.

Nice job on the trash panda!
Steve, looking forward to some pics. I got nothing for deer this year. Small bucks, does, and moose is all I saw.

Here is your answer to melting nylon catcher bags...
Check out the video.  'Using the Operator Brass Catcher'
I run one on my 65 CM gas gun, and another for my wildcats on ar-15 platform.
No time spent chasing brass, or looking for brass at night time hunting hogs...
235 bucks isn't cheap - but you really get what you pay for here.
And waaayyy better than the cheap chinese crap most are selling.

Your methodvsounded like what I would try. Bolt a solid tie down into the shop floor. Grease up some blanks, lock the hubs, pull the trailer out from under it in dual low.
