I tried it from my linux PC as well as my android phone.  It seems to work the same.  In the reply pane, in the lower left, there is an icon with 'Add image to post' text.  Click on this link and it then guides you thru browsing your device to select the image.

I have been using postimages as well....seems to work when everything else does.
