Dave, again, congratulations.  Very well done.  You should be very proud of what you accomplished.  It also looked like a great group of folks to shoot and hang out with.  What you gonna buy with all that $$?  :D

Way to go Dave.  He took the whole deal....very impressive...I'm stand in awe of what he accomplished.

"Dave Huffman is the Rendezvous 2.0 16 target overall winner, in the process Dave broke last years 16 target Agg record with a 3.522 agg."

Great pictures and the results posted on Accurate Shooter Forum

Welcome to the forum.  Yep...primers are tough to find everywhere.  I think you will like the ELD-M's in the CM....they have shot well for me.  As you may have already observed, there are a lot of good folks on the forum willing and ready to assist you if needed.  Feel free to ask questions.

Awesome Grant.  Great shooting !   I know how you feel when you build a new rifle and it all just comes together and works...all smiles.   So of the three (25, 6, 6.5) creedmoors, which do you think shots the best?  I sure like my 6.5 and it has consistently done better than the 6.

Grant, that turned out great.  Great looking rifle.  All of the components work well together.  I'm sure it will shoot as good as it looks.  I am amazed you could find bullets and brass....I just did some checking and it seems everything is sold out.  Have fun !!

What length barrel did you get?  Just need to stay home and wait for the UPS guy....I hate when they need a signature.  But you should be able to try it out this weekend.

Something to be said for staying with something you know works...the color is nice...wish MDT offered a color like that.   But the Woox sure looked good.

That is what I now have on the new 338LM barrel.  I does a great job of handling the recoil of that round....I just don't like shooting it next to anyone else.  It tends to blow all of the stuff off of the bench next to me.

Bolt Action Rifles / Re: 6mm Dasher X-Bolt
June 06, 2022, 08:52:34 PM
I shot a ladder today with the Dasher.  I added a photo of a group that was 1/4" at 200 yards.  The outside circle of the target is 1.5".  I used N540 which seems to be faster than RL-15.  I normally use 33.0g of RL-15 to get into the low/mid 2900s.  With N540, this was putting me into the low/mid 3000s and the bolt was getting a bit sticky to open...definitely too much.  I think this group at 32.6 may still be too hot and plan to shot a lower charge that will be down in the low/mid 2900s.  But the gun seems to shoot well.....which is what matters.
