Question about the Savage Target Series Model 12 LRP

The 2011 catalog pdf file lists it as being stainless but going through the gunfinder on the website it lists it as being carbon steel.

Anyone know which it is?

The pic i seen it was not stainless steel the action and barrel were black.
I am going to order one of these ASAP i love my Savages
