Then get a good sling and practice some position shooting so you're ready to hunt. I suggest a Magpul Modular sling that will accept any type of sling swivel you like. For example if you want the forearm to ride a bag without hanging up on a sling stud you could install flush cup swivels.  (See? I'm already trying to get you to spend money on gun stuff.)
