Was thinking...it would be nice if the LabRadar can connect with a Kestrel meter, or vice versa.

Got a reply from Kestrel:

"There are no plans we are aware of, LabRadar is great and they are a standout chronograph. However we still believe it doesn't replace truing the velocity in the exact conditions you are shooting the chosen round at 0.8*Transonic range as it is a far more reliable tool to generate centre of group and true aerage velocity"

For iPhone you tap the Lab Radar app symbol in the upper left.  The settings menu will drop down.  Not intuitive but the app seems to work well.

There's another LabRadar firmware update.  Update v1.2.2.  I've downloaded it, but haven't updated my LR yet.  Just suppose to be some bug fixes.

One issue i had with the app, had my phone placed next to my left, and seems like the muzzle blast from the brake was disconnecting the bluetooth.  some sort of strong magnetic field disrupting the bluetooth?  i moved my phone behind an ammo box and it was resolved.  I was shooting prone.

Lab Radar posted a short video on Facebook showing their app.  looks like it's running on an ipad mini.  hopefully it'll run smoothly on the pixel 2 and other android devices i have.

i also checked their youtube channel and nothings been updated there.

Thanks BDWSM.  I've had one outting with the new software, had some issues as described on the post above.  Much better than having to reach for the LabRadar.  Also, there's another update for bugs, v1.2.2.  I've updated my Labradar, but haven't tried it with the update firmware yet
