What torque setting do you all

use to attach your picitanny rail to your rifle. My rail is a tad loose. I have a Savage Elite Precision 6.5 CM.

Take rail and screws out, clean them with alcohol, wipe all surfaces clean, then torque with blue thread locker. My Savage rail came loose after cleaning then and re torquing them, needs blue threadlocker for sure.

That's pretty much what I do. Never used epoxy or bedded one and never had an issue. A little loctite holds it in place with 20-25 in/lbs. Have a Badger base on my 700 that's been there about 20 years and never loosened up and has been used a lot.
