Happy Easter!  This time in solitary makes me appreciate my blessings that much more.  Optimistic we have brighter days ahead.

Cooked a couple tri tips on my big smoker today. About 30* out 15-20 mph switchy wind, snowed several times. My bride cooked a turkey and plenty of side dishes.
We shared the meal with our 3 sons and a long time employee.

Filled the big firebox full of mesquite and about 25# of post oak and waited for the smoke chamber to get to 300 and went to cooking.

We enjoyed a fabulous pork loin thanks to my dear wife.

I called my sister who I felt I'd lost the "family" thing with. It was different this time, we had a great time reminiscing about our mom and grandparents. Who knows, maybe tough times allows us all to look past the silly stuff
