Hard to beat 41.9 gn H4350 under a 140 gn pill, in my SAV 10 (24" w/break), Hdy brass.
Also need to adjust for case capacity since HDY is more than Lapua, in order to get same fps from both cases.
Usual caution applies,, to work up the loads from a safe starting point..
I'd stay with the ELD-X and just hunt close around the 40.5 gr level.
Have two RAPS and they're both keepers.. (243 & 6.5cm)
Also working with Game Tipped 130s (GTK).
Little more expensive than ELD-Ms but getting 1500 TMK at a time sounds like a winner.
... 95gr Vmax to try next for a lighter round....Had good luck with them pushed by 41 gn of 8208 xbr,, got about 3200 fps from a 24" barrel.
...looking hard at the tipped Game King in 130 grain. ...Welcom LIT, and that's one of my favorite 6.5 pills.
I use Varget under that one and H4350 or H100V under the 140s.
Updated the chart above and made the units more clear..
Paper definetly says @100 yards MOA =1" and Mil-Dot = 3.6"
Here's another source Trijicon
You guys that use Mil-Dot should chime in here....
…. mil-moa-inch-yd-meter printable PDF file..This is a jpg file, I may be able to convert it to .pdf if needed.
Corrected the meters conversion.
Both mine are BDC, my choice.
Both provided good results up to 400 yards, but the quality of the RDF seemed slightly better.
Took more effort to find a good node with the RDFs, probably all me.
Would still be using the RDFs, but got hooked on 140 ELD-M, just hard to brake that habit.
Range buddies like to move down a few benches from those.
First one was on an 18" 308 bolt, but since it mostly stays in the safe, it was moved to the RAP.
