I had to log in also. There will be a small performance hit after the update while the site cache is rebuilt and while CloudFlare rebuilds their own cache. After that the site will be just as fast as before, if not faster.
This thing is moving like a snail for me right now.
The best part about this forum so far besides the members is that I can navigate Ok with my dial-up and Windows XP.
I hope I don't lose this forum like I have lost LRH which does not work at all now with my setup.
Is that why it asked me log back inProbably because I ran a test. The update is not done yet. I found that some of the forum themes will not work after the update.
We will be relocating/moving the server on Tuesday, 9th January 2018 between 9:00PM to 5:00AM EST. We will be moving the server to a new datacenter across the street. You may experience 45-60 minutes of downtime during the move.
This is scary. I need to check my 22/45 and send it in if necessary.
Thanks for the comments. This is a new rifle and the 1st shots thru it so I will lean towards a primer/powder combo for this case as I am using the same combo in a 65 Grendel with no issues. I have some CCI450s so I will try them with some Varget or 4350 behind some 143s I have coming in. Will also go about bumping the cases a bit instead of FL sizing them.Brand new rifle and reloads... Have you checked if you have the same problem with factory ammo? I would try that before messing around with different primers, powders, etc. That will tell you if the ammo or the rifle is the problem.
Was that with the Hornady ELD-M's?Yes it was. 140gr ELD-Ms.
I finally got RL16 and worked up a load. I started at 42.2gr in 0.2gr increments and stopped at 44.0gr. No pressure sings at 44.0. but no accuracy either. My RPR seems to like 43.2 gr of RL16, on the new Lapua brass, using Unis Ginex primers, and Hornady 140gr ELD-M bullets. Four bullets in a hole and a "flyer" that I am blaming on the shooter. I used a Silencerco Saker 7.62 suppressor on the RPR rifle. Unfortunately I was not able to get speeds, but I will post that as soon as I load and test some more.Just an update to this data. I tested the speed of the RL16 43.2gr load suppressed, and all I can say is wow! The average speed of 10 rounds was 2,869 fps. With 41.8 gr of H4350 I was only getting an average of 2,687 fps. I gained 182 fps!
So Carlos how do you really feel? What can I say, I hate cockroaches. Only them and Nacy Pelosi can survive a nuclear holocaust.
