I shot my buck at 75 yards with Hornady 143 gr ELD-X Precision Hunter. Slighty forward of double lung dropped him like a sack of spuds. I've been advised to use the 129 gr Interlock which has a soft lead tip. Looking for expansion . I reload ...Advice?

Hello Creedmoor enthusiast,  I have just returned from hunting for the first time with my 6.5.  This was a gift from my son who built it at Bergara USA. Has a carbon fiber barrel with suppressor, Range time gave me sub MOA accuracy. 3x9 Trijiccon scope.
