What am I doing wrong? I would really like to have the spreadsheet. My wife told me the other day "You enjoy the science of reloading as much as you enjoy the shooting"

Not sure.

From this page: http://www.65guys.com/load-development-analysis/

There is a link further down in the article. When I click on that link once. (left click), I get the .xlsm file downloaded properly. If it's not working for you, DM me with your email address and I'll send it to you separately.

What format is the file supposed to have?  xls, ods, numbers?

Try opening from within  the matching app.

If that doesn't work, there a other options beyondposting a similar note on the 65 forum.

As one who truly enjoys the science of reloading, I can unequivocally say the best option is to build your own spreadsheet.  True, you will duplicate some of the work others have done.  On the other hand, you can tailor it to catch your interests and needs without the extra items someone building a general purpose load track and analysis sheet might throw in.

Most important, it will be YOURS.

You've got three nodes there, 40.5, 41.5 and 42.2 I'd run the middle node and do a seating depth test  :))

This post had me baffled for a while.  Kind of gave me a clue why we may change our forum names!
I got bored with the research so I'm going to watch a few episodes of the "real gunsmith".
Maybe he has something on 9 shot load development .

I'm still baffled! I just threw out the old tried & true " shoot the middle node and do a seating depth test" no idea what all that means up there /\

Did that old fart ever find his tin foil hat?

Quote from: VA-XBolt on February 12, 2019, 08:44:41 AMIt's a .xlsm file (for Excel)

When I download that file, it's not an excel file - it's an htm file (Load-Analysis-Model-V2.htm).

I've setup a couple excel worksheets but I'm always interested in other folks ideas.
the 10-shot load development process is one big time saver, in my opinion.

are you sure this is where you downloaded the .xlsx file?
thanks!

Save file to where you want it, change file name extension from .htm to  .xlsx while saving. Opens with Excel.
