HORNADY 147GR ELD-M

Can anyone confirm that the 147grain like to jump 40 to 50 thou. A friend got some info from a well known builder, and I am still working out a load with Alpha Brass in my new rifle that has a 1:7.5 twist.  I had some pressure issues running them at 10-20 thou so I'm thinking its a combo of the faster twist and the shorter jump.

Here's a .090" jump at 650 yards. They don;t mind a jump.

I did a seating test at .020, .040, .060, and .080. My gun with a 26" barrel with HBN coated 147 eldm's, and 41.3 grains of RL 16 liked .060 off the lands.  That happens to be near 100% fill.  I don't know if that is important.  Have had another load that like .030, and also one that liked .020. Different charge weights and different bullets seems to change things.
