Scale, auto trickler, auto throw foreign transaction fee question
I recently bought the combo scale, trickler, thrower combo from CE Products, a Canadian concern.

My credit card company jacked me for a $9.39 foreign transaction fee, anyone else get charged that fee?

I know it's only $10, still, kinda ticks me off.

Good God!!!! My bank, Golden One Credit Union, pirated me for a whopping $1.37!!!  I love my bank. Yes, any transaction outside of the USA gets dinged a transfer fee.

Some cards, including mine from Chase don't charge foreign transaction fees. Good thing, because I use that one for foreign business travel.

I bought a system from them a few weeks ago using Paypal and I didn't get any extra charges.

Maybe if you use PayPal, either from PayPal balance or checking account, they don't charge a fee. I imagine PayPal with CC might still incur a fee.

Either way, I still win a tiny bit using a CC which pays me 2% on every purchase, they hit me 1% for the the fee  :)

That's a really good deal, I've used that twice for rather expensive rifle scopes, paid them off before the usurious interest kicked in. Still, PayPal Credit is an in-house deal for PayPal so they may waive international transaction fees.

I've had eBayers pay me with PayPal using a credit card, I was strip mined so bad with fees I may as well have donated the items to Goodwill.
